
Happy Monday! I thought I’d kick start the week by sharing some of my food-related reminders (please scroll down to read…).
I don’t believe in having to restrict your fav food from your diet to be healthy. I am not here for these fad/crash diets. I don’t want people to think that they need to eat exactly what an ‘influencer’ or ‘celebrity’ is eating or do the same exercises to look them.
I’m tired of some people telling others what they did to lose weight without considering other people’s food choices, social factors or mental wellbeing. Disordered eating is real and some of these ‘gurus’ may be encouraging this without realising. Also one size doesn’t fit all too. What worked for one person, may not work for another…
Instead of focusing on foods to detox, lose weight, cleanse, burn fat, etc…(thanks to diet culture!). Let’s focus more on foods that we can eat that fuels & nourishes our body, makes us happy & we enjoy eating too.
